25 years of conscious electronic music. Founded in 2000, Sangita Sounds grew from hosting events into a label representing visionary sonic journeys where East Meets West with Electro-Acoustic harmonic blends of Traditional music and Future soundscapes.
Darren Sangita
Electronic music producer active in the UK scene since 1995, DJing and organising legendary Goa Trance parties in London. From 1995-2000, performed internationally as Darren Dragonfly (label manager for Dragonfly Records) in Japan, Greece, and Denmark. As a producer with projects including Noodreem, Ashirvad, Spectralite and Sangita Soundsystem he has performanced across Europe’s festivals from 2006-2020 incl. Boom, Ozora, Sonica and beyond. Eight years in India recording and performing with traditional folk and classical musicians shaped a unique sound bridging East and West.
